Our Chapter

Theta Phi Alpha is a close-knit sisterhood comprised of women from a variety of backgrounds. We uphold the highest ideals of fraternal life and remain heavily involved on Rowan University's campus located in Glassboro, New Jersey. The Gamma Delta chapter at Rowan has leaders in many organizations on campus including PROS, SUP, Admissions Ambassadors, REC Center Staff, Elementary Education Club, and PRSSA to name a few.

Theta Phi Alpha also has a large focus on philanthropic efforts and service projects. Its national philanthropies include The House That Theta Phi Alpha Built, Glenmary Home Missioners, and Camp Friendship. Locally, the chapter participates in philanthropies that closely affect sisters. Most recently our chapter has volunteered at places such as Ronald McDonald House, Paws for Arts, Back to the Boro, Relay for Life, and Rowan's first Dance Marathon.

The chapter’s past on campus accomplishments include coming in 2nd Place for Greek Week 2018,
3rd Place in Homecoming 2018 banner competition and the lip sync battle, 2nd Place in CANstruction Competition and...

Theta Phi Alpha's national organization was founded on August 30th, 1912 and on Rowan's campus on December 14th, 2002.
